At Early Childhood, your child will be safe and secure.
- Every child will be checked in on the sign in sheet for the room.
- Every child will be given a sticker and the parent will be given a parent tag. Each of these tags will have matching numbers.
- Parents will need to give their tag to the leader in the room to retrieve their child out of the room.
- If
a parent does not have their tag, they need to show a driver’s license
or another photo ID that matches the adult’s name on the child;rsquo;s
tag.
Another way Early Childhood provides safety is by enforcing
room capacity limits. A room capacity limit is established based on the
number of children and staff that can safely be in a room at a given
time. Rooms for babies and toddlers naturally accommodate smaller
numbers.
A third way that your child will
be safe is through our volunteer screening process. This multi-step
process includes an application, reference checks and a background
check. Once this is accomplished, observation in a classroom with
seasoned teachers precedes actually leading a class.
We strive to provide a safe, healthy setting for your children and to assure quality teaching for each child.
