KCRG (Children's Ministry) Volunteers

Serving the Next Generation at North Metro Church

Every Sunday, we provide the children at NMC the opportunity to participate in small groups and large group environments.  Small groups are where the children and teachers dig into the Word through discussions and activities.  Our large group environment is a time for many classrooms to come together to join together in worship and hear the Word shared by one of our large group teachers.

HOW CAN YOU GET PLUGGED IN?

We are in need of committed leaders to serve in our Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary classrooms, as well as volunteering at our Guest Service Desk or on our Security team.  

• KCRG ministry areas for classroom volunteers are in the Nursery (birth-24 months), Preschool (2 year olds-Kindergarten), and Elementary (1st Grade-5th Grade).
• KCRG Guest Services welcome new families to North Metro Church and assist families in signing into classrooms on Sunday mornings.
• KCRG Security stand at the entrances to KCRG before and after services to ensure that parents and family members only can enter our hallways.

• Our volunteers serve every other Sunday at one of the services (Team A or B).
• The serving year begins August 12 for Team B volunteers, and August 19 for Team A volunteers.  The serving year ends August of 2013.
• Curriculum and materials are provided for you each week for ages 13 months through 5th Grade.
• New Volunteer training is required for all volunteers prior to serving.  We will discuss the curriculum, finding subs, and other procedures to help you jump right into serving with a classroom of children.

Please fill out one form per person when signing up family members.  If you are interested in serving as a couple or family, you can make a note of that at the end of the form.
