Applying biblical truth relevant to a child’s life is one of our priorities in KCRG.
HOW WE TEACH:
Each weekly lesson has a Power Point that is demonstrated through the teaching of scriptures and a memory verse. Lessons are presented to students in a large group setting, and then followed by time in their small group settings. Small group leaders use engaging and age-appropriate activities that help students apply the weekly Biblical truths to their personal and daily lives.
WHAT WE TEACH:
1) The Bible is God’s Living Word.
2) Everything in the Bible is true.
3) The Bible is timeless and relevant to today’s world.
4) A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important thing in anyone’s life.
5) You can talk to God anywhere and anytime.
The Books in Motion strategy is a fun way to equip a new generation of Christ Seekers with a tool they’ll use for a lifetime. It is a multi-sensory approach that teaches students the books of the Old Testament in order. In addition to learning the books in order, the hand motions remind students of a story from each of the books. This is a great skill the students will use as they become independent readers of God’s Word.
