NMC Homeschool Group

The North Metro Church Homeschool Group is excited about the school year and about all the great things that happen each year through the relationships that this group provides! The over 40 North Metro families participating in this network include seasoned homeschoolers as well as families that are new to homeschooling. The children range in age from infancy to college. There are families participating who live in Acworth, Dallas, Powder Springs, Kennesaw, Marietta, Woodstock, and Jasper. Although each family may differ in its approaches to education, all are united in their goal to teach their children at home. It is this goal that has brought these families together for fellowship and support.

Purpose
The purpose of the North Metro Church Homeschool Group is to provide encouragement and community for homeschool families in their likeminded pursuit of training their children. The hope is to provide fellowship, educational opportunities, communication, service opportunities, and outreach to other homeschool families.

Throughout the year, meetings are offered for moms only (with real conversations!), a quarterly newsletter, field trips, family functions, service projects, and more. If you are a homeschool family, you are welcome to join in one or all of our activities.
