The Great Commission passage found in Matthew 28 defines the goal and scope of both Local and World Evangelization. The goal is to "make disciples" and the scope is "of all nations." In Acts 1:8, the scope is divided into four areas, which are to be approached in parallel, rather than sequentially... Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the Ends of the Earth

Targeted Areas... The role of the Local Outreach Ministry is to focus on Making a Difference
in our Jerusalem and Judea.

Jerusalem - Ministry opportunities to believers and nonbelievers within the church, which are within the normal personal influence of the people of NMC and other growing churches, e.g., ministry within Community Groups and Worship Services.

Judea - Ministry opportunities to nonbelievers outside the church that are within the normal personal influence of the people of

North Metro Church and other growing churches, e.g., ministry to co-workers, neighbors, those who are unchurched, and seekers. Connecting our hearts and hands through this strategy will help us begin to visualize - and experience - a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and through this process equip us to be difference makers in our world for Him!
