Great marriages don't just happen ... you have to work at them! A crucial part of having a great marriage is preparation. That's why we encourage couples to participate in our premarital mentoring program.

The decision to marry is one of the most important choices we make in life. Preparation for marriage involves much more than detailing a beautiful wedding. Our desire at the Pre Marital Mentoring Team is to help you establish a marriage that will endure and that you will enjoy for a lifetime. The Premarital Mentoring Team trains mentors to walk beside you through this time and offers resources to prepare you for what lies ahead.

Who?

Our mentoring is available to members and regular attendees who are already engaged. If you desire to be married by one of our pastors, then you are required to receive marriage preparation through the Pre-Marital Mentoring Ministry.

What?

It's simple but very important!

We will contact you to confirm that we have received your registration. As a mentor couple becomes available they will contact you and get started.

CoupleCheckup Inventory

Don't let that scare you. You don't have to study for it, and it's relatively painless. The only "pain" is that it takes about 30 minutes. The inventory is one that has been around for many years and is very helpful in evaluating potential problem areas and strength areas in couple relationships.  You should then forward this information to your mentoring couple.  CLICK HERE to access the inventory at www.couplecheckup.com.

Meet with a Mentoring Couple

  • What will this require of you?
  • Time: You will be asked to invest the time necessary to complete the process.
  • Fee: The cost for the inventory and the process is $125 per couple. ($95 to North Metro Church and $30 for the CoupleCheckup.com assessment) (Note: completing a premarital mentoring program will most often result in a $50 discount on the marriage license)
  • Preparation: It is imperative that you begin the process 6 months prior to the "big event."
