You can get involved in serving our community Saturday, September 18.
We will serve:
Atlanta Dream Center - Adopt- A-Block - (30 Volunteers)
No minimum age requirement - Serve time: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Adopt-A-Block is the heart-beat of The Atlanta Dream Center. The Old 4th Ward, where the Dream Center is established, is known for drugs, prostitution, and poverty-stricken families. Every week volunteers go out into the 4th ward to meet the practical and spiritual needs of the residents. Volunteers meet outside The Dream Center offices for worship and an encouraging word and instructions. They then break form teams to deliver groceries, clean up the streets, share the Love of Christ as they pray for people, and spread the joy of salvation with whomever they meet. Kids and adults alike anxiously wait for volunteers to come to their doors. Being in the Bible belt, many people have lost hope in the church but Adopt-A-Block is bringing hope back. What began with a couple of people meeting together every Saturday has grown into an interdenominational weekly event. Churches from all over Georgia and across the US come together for one cause, to make Christ known through action. Adopt-A-Block is changing the old 4th ward and the city of Atlanta, one block at a time. Come and be apart of changing someone's life for Christ through love and servant hood.

Volunteers will meet at North Metro for an encouraging word and instructions. Come and be a part of changing someone's life for Christ through love and servant hood.
