Channel One is one facet of our vision at KCRG.  It is the concept of our volunteers and staff sharing One God, One Vision, and One Team.  Romans 12:4-8 says,

“Just as each one of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.  We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.  If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.  It if is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage, if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.”

We need many different types of members in our elementary ministry.  Please take a moment to see if any of these roles fit with your heart and design for service:

•    Small Group Leader: Implementing weekly application lessons and maintaining a nurturing environment for effective teaching.
•    Classroom Greeter: Checking in children to their grade level classrooms and assisting teachers with secure dismissal                  procedures.
•    Programming Team: Participating in one of many production roles such as large group teacher, worship leader, director, or            tech team.
•    Student Helper: Assisting the small group leaders with lessons and activities.  (Must be in 7th grade or higher.)
•    Coach: Providing leadership and support to teams of teachers.
