Temple Builders: Faith and Fitness Workouts

Temple Builders: Faith and Fitness Workouts

About This Group

Are you ready to care for your body while deepening your spiritual journey? Temple Builders is about strengthening our bodies, minds, and spirits through faith-based fitness! Blake and I are no gym gurus, but we love working out—and we want to invite you to join us as we move together, grow more robust, and worship God with the bodies He’s blessed us with!
We’ll meet once a week from 6:15 to 7:45p.m with rotating a day of the week - watch your email!

You will want to bring: resistance bands, jump ropes, resistance bands with handles, a yoga mat, and dumbbell weights that you are comfortable with. Wear comfy workout clothes and remember your water to stay hydrated!
Bonus:
If you’re interested in healthy eating, we can help! What we put into our bodies affects so many things:

  1. Low energy – Junk food can leave you feeling sluggish and drained.
  2. Mood swings – Processed foods can negatively impact your emotional health.
  3. Poor sleep – Bad eating habits can interfere with restful sleep.
  4. Weight gain – Unhealthy food choices can lead to unwanted weight and health problems.
  5. Weakened immune system – Nutrient-poor foods leave your body less able to fight off sickness.

Healthy eating is another way to honor God by caring for our “temples” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). So, let’s work on both fitness and food together!

Invite a friend, tell them to invite a friend, and let’s start building stronger temples for the Lord. See ya there!
