Bibles We Use in the Classroom

After carefully reviewing Bibles on the market, our staff has chosen these to pair with our classroom curriculum. Fourth-grade students use an ESV Bible to prepare them for their transition to Shift.

Frolic First Bible

At 15-months, we start introducing biblical concepts and stories in a developmental and age-appropriate way. The Frolic First Bible follows a chronological telling of seven stories from the Old Testament and eight stories from the New Testament. We are excited to foster a love of God’s truth within your children’s hearts.

ESV Bible

The English Standard Version (ESV) is an “essentially literal” translation of the Bible in contemporary English. It was created by a team of more than 100 leading evangelical scholars and pastors and it emphasizes “word-for-word” accuracy, literary excellence, and depth of meaning. Our middle school (Shift) and high school (NMC Students) ministries will be using the ESV Bible as well.
