They offer care, support, and encouragement to people whose lives have been turned upside down by crisis or tragedy. They minister through active listening, a caring presence, and prayer. If you are experiencing a personal crisis, you don’t need to walk through it alone because a Stephen Minister is ready to walk beside you.

Become a Stephen Minister

Learn, grow and serve by becoming a Stephen Minister. Stephen Ministers are members of our faith community who provide a one-on-one caring ministry to people experiencing grief, divorce, loneliness, job loss, illness, or any other life difficulties. As a Stephen Minister, you’ll be equipped to provide a very high level of care through our training program. After training, you will be matched with someone in need of care and begin to meet with that person once a week to listen, pray, encourage, and reflect Christ’s presence in their life. Stephen Ministry becomes both life-changing for the care receiver and the Stephen Minister.
